As we were leaving Northwest Trek the clouds were rolling in. It had been a beautiful sunny day for most of our day out. We got dripped on at both the Wildlife Refuge and at Northwest Trek, but it was only because the trees were covered in snow that was melting. I found out you can't photograph deer at night with my camera unless you either have a tripod or something on which to set the camera. I don't know if you know what it is to "geo-cache", but it's a fun, new hobby for those people who own GPS units. It's basically a hide and seek game. Someone hides something and then uses the GPS to figure out the coordinates. That information is placed on a web-site and the seekers look it up and then go to find the object by using the coordinates. I wouldn't mind having a GPS just for this

Long ago, but not far away, I used to do ceramics. I would go weekly to this nice lady's house and buy, clean and paint ceramic figurines. It was a fun artistic pursuit and I made a lot of cute things to use during holiday seasons. I painted a really nice scarecrow and a lovely witch on a pumpkin for the fall season and halloween.
