Wordless Wednesday, Family Fun Day

We had a company BBQ and family fun day at the Sillyville portion of the Puyallup Fair. My neice and her family are here from Virginia, so I invited her, my sister and my mom. It was good food, free rides and games, free ice cream (from Schwann's) and free cotton candy, and lots of fun! My only disappointment, besides having to leave to go to work, was that it was rainy, so we didn't get to ride on the Giant Slide! Bummer!

I'm trying to get back on track. I still need to figure out how to do the Mr. Linky thing. One of these days. I've just been very busy lately.

Wordless Wednesday around the yard.

A little walk around the yard:



Some weeds I haven't gotten too.

The neighbor's privet hedge is flowering. It hangs
over in my yard and smells heavenly.



Someone forgot to tell this blossom that it should have
bloomed in March. It's a flowering quince bush.



I finally found a dog house that the dog actually likes.




Although we give her a bowl, she always knocks it over
and eats her food off the platform.



These bricks are from an old building downtown and
are my future BBQ out back.

For some reason blogspot keeps turning my pictures back to their original orientation, even though I've turned them in my photo program. I'm not sure why. Sorry about that.

Here you can see the box they like to run into, which causes it to fly across the floor with them inside of it. Sometimes they land on top of it instead of inside. It still flies across the floor with them, either way.

This tent keeps collapsing but they can get in it anyway. I'm working on a fix for it.

Here is todays coveted toy. It is the paper strip you pull to open a mailer.

Penny was the one to originally find this toy and had to fight all day to keep it to herself.
