Saskatchewan: Crooked Bush

We took a trip to the Crooked Bush. Interesting site with some very crooked growth on some Aspen trees. There are varying theories about what causes these trees to mutate into these configurations. Some think that an alien space ship passed over this site changing the soil structure. Some think that it is the result of "alien urine". The studies done indicate that it cannot be the soil because the mutation continues when they are grown away from the Hafford site. You can read more about them here.
