It's a rainy, windy, sunny, rainy, windy day today.

Last night the wind blew so hard that it shook the house. I could hear stuff blowing about and hitting the house and roof but it was dark so I couldn't really see anything. The lights flickered a few times and I thought we were going to lose power, but this time we didn't. It did, however, blow over our lawn swing and the recycling containers, as you can see from the pictures below. They are a little blurry because I was in a hurry to go get David this morning.

Today started out rainy and windy, but then we got a little reprieve and I was able to go out and clear some of the debris in the dog's yard and make a path along the fence in preparation for the bulldozing I want to do back there.

I decided to work outside until the weather changed or Keri arrived with Logan, whichever came first. Keri arrived with Logan first, so I cleaned up my mess, put things away and came in the house. She left and I made myself some lunch, but before I could even finish it, the sky darkened and suddenly we had a downpour, as can be seen in the following two pictures.

I love wind and rain storms, but like them better when I don't have to go out in them. (sigh) It's my Monday.

Then I suggest you don't move here, haha. It was pouring just like that when I got off tonight, too!

It has been windy here but warm. Very nice for November. I can go out in the afternoon with a light jacket. That is really uinheard of. I hope we don't have to pay for it later.

I think it's generally supposed to be a milder winter this year. Winter went on forever last year, so I'm glad it's been mild.
