Shhhh...don't tell them it's November!

These little guys don't realize it's way past the time for them to bloom. I took these pictures today, November 9.
The first three are of a freesia that I stuck in a pot to keep it until I dig up the rest and divide them all. I love how it keeps blooming, one bloom at a time. These were taken with the macro setting.

Bachelor buttons are one of my most favorite flowers out of all my favorite flowers. This pot was planted late in spring, so the blooms have remained very tiny. The flower in these pictures is less than an inch across. All of these pictures are of the same flower. The rest all died with the light frost we had the other night. I think it looks very much like fairy wings. These were taken with the super-macro setting.

I didn't notice the visitor in this picture. I have no idea what it is because I wasn't wearing my glasses and the muted tones are giving it no color. It could be a bee or a flea or ????. Who knows.

I don't think it's a bee. It's gross.

It is a bug. LOL

I saw lady bugs outside today!!! We don't have lady bugs in November. We usually have blizzards in November. I am loving it.

Gorgeous pictures! I wish there was something blooming here.
But on the bright side "NO SNOW"!!!! Any day without snow is a good day. and I may just get into my backyard and get it ready for when the snow does come. Maybe...

Thanks, Sue. I don't think we will get much snow this year. It's ok with me. We had an over-abundance of it last year.
